Carry Speed FS-Slim Camera Sling Review

Final Thoughts

wrapup

Needless to say, I have been thoroughly enjoying my time with the FS-Slim. Between the two-stage buckles, reinforced seams, and steel ball head attachment, you could swing your camera rodeo style above your head without any any worries of it coming unattached. If a camera strap could ever be certified as 'military-grade,' the FS-Slim would definitely fit the bill in my opinion. Rather than being just a simple strap, the FS-Slim feels more like a dedicated peice of equipment every time that I pull it out of my bag for a shoot, making it worth the initially daunting $59.99 MSRP. That price is actually quite competitive with similar products without as much functionality or as high a quality of build. You are also getting Carry Speed's 1 Year USA Limited Warranty and a 7-day money back guarantee. The ergonomics of the F-1 mounting plate are stellar, although the front cinch system could use a little more fine tuning to prevent loosening over time. The overall experience of using the FS-Slim is very satisfying, and it has earned a place in my camera bag for years to come.
