SteelSeries CoD Black Ops II and Diablo III Gaming Mice Review

Final Thoughts

Unless they bring an added level of performance or killer looks to the table, special edition products are difficult purchases to justify. However the $70 CoD Black Ops II and Diablo III mice may be well worth it if you have a strong preference for flashy color schemes or are a loyal fan of either franchise. One thing worth mentioning about the rubberized shell is its tendency to lose the matte finish as time goes on. Those preferring not to deal with this issue can opt for the glossy version of the standard Sensei [RAW] or the whitewashed SteelSeries Guild Wars 2 Mouse. No matter how you cut it, you can't go wrong with the solid performance of the Sensei [RAW] platform as long as the price isn't a deal-breaker for you.

The Good

  • High quality materials, components, and finishing
  • Bright and customizable LEDs

The Bad

  • Tendency of matte finish to wear away over time.
  • $10 price hike over standard Sensei [RAW]
