Arctic M551 Laser Gaming Mouse Review - Final Thoughts

Final Thoughts

The Arctic M551 tracks smoothly and accurately, and performed well on a wide variety of surfaces. The feet are evenly spaced on the bottom, and although are each relatively small, provide an even and smooth glide. I tend to prefer a weightier mouse, so it took me a bit of getting used to, as the M551 is fairly light. Otherwise, it worked as advertised, and is a great entry-level gaming mouse. The on-the-fly adjustment and the thumb buttons carry along with it functionality that high-end mice have.

Although the ergonomic contour didn't fit my large, wide hands perfectly, it still worked just fine for me, and those with smaller hands will likely find it has a good fit. It does have a taller profile, and fills out your palm nicely.

Overall, a pretty good choice for an entry-level gaming mouse that works as it should, and has the buttons and on-the-fly sensitivity you're looking for in a gaming mouse.
