Arctic Laser Presenter Review - Final Thoughts

Final Thoughts

The presenter is simple in color, sizing, and function, and I wouldn't want anything else in a presentation device.  The USB dongle works great, it's simple, plug it in, and you're off and running.  Certain programs may need a few small tweaks to make sure everything functions, but that is more of a software-dependent issue, as anything I threw at it (Power Point and some media programs) didn't require any additional setup.  Having used it in several presentations since receiving it, it's a very streamlined way of being able to stand in front of your audience, point and control the presentation all with one hand, leaving your other hand free for illustration or just some added "personality."  This review is rather difficult to write, because it works as advertised, it seems to have any of the based PC functions I'd want, and an included laser pointer.  It also has a built-in holder for the USB dongle and a protective carrying case, I don't feel that there's much more to look for in a presenter unless you want a 3D hologram to emerge from it with the snap of a finger.
