Benchmarks - Aliens vs. Predator
Aliens vs. Predator utilizes Rebellion Developments' Asura engine to create detailed textural environments which use DirectX 11 and advanced (and demanding) graphical techniques such as tessellation.
All of the settings for the benchmarking tool were set to their highest values, which is "3" in the configuration file setup at a resolution of 1920x1080.
The Aliens vs. Predator benchmark only runs on DX11-capable hardware, so the 9800GT had to sit this one out.
Again, we see very strong performance from the GTX 660, besting the overclocked GTX 560Ti by nearly 20% and the GTX 560 by 41%. We tend to see Dirt 3 and the AvP benchmarks have roughly the same relative differences, and we see that again here.
