RHA MA450i Noise Isolating Earphones with Remote and Microphone

The Glasglow, UK-headquarted RHA brings the affordably-priced, noise isolating, all-aluminum MA450i to the extremely competitive budget earphones market. We were impressed with their MA350s which were machined from solid aluminum and boasted rich, natural sound which was impressive for its price point.  The MA450i builds off the MA350s to add the ability to control calls, music, and volume on any Apple device (iPad, iPod, iPhone). Read on to find out whether these headphones are worth your time and money.

RHA MA 450i

The MA450i is a high spec earphone that combines RHA’s renowned sound quality with an inline remote and microphone for seamless control of your music library and calls. Machined from solid aluminium and housing a 10mm driver, the MA450i offers music-lovers effortless control without compromising on acoustics. RHA’s signature aerophonic design delivers an impressively detailed, well-balanced sound experience. The inline remote and mic controls calls, music and volume on your Apple device.* The dual density ear-tips are constructed for optimum noise isolation; soft silicone on the outside provides a comfortable secure fit and keeps external noise out, while firmer silicone on the inside produces a tighter seal to prevent sound leakage. A 1.5m shielded fabric braided cable produces less friction than a normal rubber cable which helps reduce tangling, prolonging product life.

Packaging and Unboxing

The RHA MA450i's come in a nice little box. One very positive aspect of the box approach is not having to cut/claw/stab your way through any form fitted crimped plastic nightmares, as can be common with the cheaper earphones. You can open this box easily and everything inside has its place which also makes it a good package to actually store the included accessories in.  Included with the earphones themselves is a user manual, dual-density soft silicone tips of varying size, and a carrying bag. This is typically what you can expect to find enclosed with all headphones in this price range, however, more earbud tips come with the MA450i than other models.
