RHA CA200 Noise Isolating Headphones Review

Final Thoughts | RHA CA200 Earphones

A great investor once said "price is what you pay, value is what you get", and to that end, the RHA CA200 is high in value and low in price. With that in mind, there's really no reason not to give these a try. The headphones are stylish, comfortable, affordable, and sound great. That's about all you can ask for in a product. As I mentioned, the only fault I could find was interfering noise from the cable at low volumes, but this issues disappears at moderate/higher listening volumes.

The 40mm drivers allow the CA200s to hit the low notes quite well but they're also tuned where the high notes don't feel strained and harsh, which is where larger drivers will often fall short.  The features you'd want in a more expensive pair of cans are also there, with RHA bundling removable, braided cables and gold-plated connectors.  Their being low weight and the earcups having a lot of free motion makes them feel a bit cheap, but we've seen no fault in the durability, and the free-floating earcups and low weight lend to fantastic comfort and long-term wearability.

At a mere $30, you don't have to set aside a savings account to spring for the CA200s, and their styling makes them look like a hundred bucks.  Their performance is also comparable to headsets we've owned in the $40-60 range which is a further testament to the value the CA200s offer.  It's clear that RHA has the ability to design a good product, and that bringing value to their customers is a high priority, because I personally think that they could probably sell these for more if they wanted to.  Oh yeah, and RHA offers an impressive 3 year warranty which means you'll be covered for quite some time.
