Phanteks PH-TC12DX CPU Cooler Review

Testing - Installation

With the mounting bracket and rubber dampers in place, all that's left to do is apply the provided thermal paste and tighten the spring-loaded female bolts onto the threaded front brackets. I was able to tighten these most of the way using just my fingers and only felt like I had to give each a full turn with a screwdriver for good measure. Clip on the fans, plug into the fan headers, and we're ready for testing. I expected the black and white version of the cooler to look great inside the white inside of the CM Storm Stryker chassis, and indeed it does. If your motherboard is less flashy than the ROG Maximus V Formula shown here, you might consider spicing things up with a red or blue heatsink.
