Hey I was just curious.. How far is the CPU slot from the RAM? I am considering getting this CPU Heatsink/Fan and I nervous about clearance issues.. Currently have a Gigabyte Z68AP-D3 Rev 2.0 motherboard.. and Kingston DDR3 1600Mhz HyperX. Also, doesn't this CPU cooler have a Blue LED fan?

The CPU and RAM clearance should be very similar to the Z68AP-D3, and if your kit doesn't have raised fins, this cooler should clear the RAM without an issue. The RAM we used was the Patriot Viper Xtreme which have a somewhat high-profile heatsink, and we didn't have any issues.

It also shouldn't be too difficult to mount the cooler so the heatpipes face the rear fan, because the fins leave plenty clearance for RAM. Of course, it's highly dependent upon the case and the motherboard itself, so keep an eye on it nonetheless :D

The version of this cooler with LEDs is the ETD-T60-VD (Vegas Duo), ours was the -TB version.
