Coolermaster Hyper 612 PWM CPU Cooler Review - Final Thoughts

Final Thoughts

The Hyper 612 PWM takes functional design that also looks attractive, and bearing the "Hype" name, it gets put it in line with the Hyper 212+, the value king of cooling.  Its fin spacing and cutouts allow for good airflow properties at low fan speeds for quiet operation, and the spacing between the fan and the fins themselves prevents flow stagnation.  the top two black fins have a unique design and give the Hyper 612 a visual boost ,especially if you have a windowed case.  The fan employs an "S-blade" geometry to enable high airflow and good acoustics.  A strategically designed arrangement for its six copper heatpipes is also a great engineering feature to see as well.  When it's all said and done, the Hyper 612 PWM is a performer, and a great value performer at that, earning it some of the "big brother" honors as bigger version of the insanely popular Hyper 212+.  At the $50 price point, it looks already as if this will be yet another hard value to beat, and another winner from Cooler Master!
